We are closed until after Labor Day! 🇺🇸🌊

The boys are soaking up the sun and beach, ocean water, and some much-needed vacation time! ☀️🐾 We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! ❤️

Margo has been adopted!! ❤️🐾

We are so incredibly happy for her to finally be going to a home where she is already loved so much. Her new owners are so pleased with her training, and they received a comprehensive go-home training lesson on adoption day to help set everyone up for success.

Moments like this are what make all the hard work so worth it and make saying “yes” to fostering feel easy. ❤️ If you are ever able to, try fostering! It is such a privilege to be a part of a dog's journey and help prepare them for their forever home.

It has been an absolute privilege to be a part of Margo’s life and training. She will always be a part of us, and we will be cheering her on from afar.

Update on Henry! 🐾❤️

Henry has been doing good! We are currently giving him muscle relaxers at night after his Addison’s test came back negative.

Some mornings he still acts like he doesn’t feel his best, but the past few mornings he has been back to his normal self. And we are SO thankful to see our happy-go-lucky boy back in the mornings, wanting all the affection and acting like himself again. ❤️

Dogs make it so hard to know what is actually going on sometimes. They can’t tell us when something hurts or when they just don’t feel quite right, and those subtle changes can be so easy to miss.

So, consider this your sign to journal your dog’s behavior! 📝🐶

Pay attention to their normal routines, energy levels, appetite, sleep, bathroom habits, and even little personality changes. Sometimes looking back at those notes can help you notice subtle signs that your dog hasn’t been feeling 100% that you may have otherwise overlooked.

Here’s to more happy mornings, tail wags, and Henry being his goofy self! ❤️🐾

🎓 Carl graduated from his 3-Week Board & Train!🎓

We are SO proud of the progress Carl has made during his time with us! He has worked hard on his basic obedience commands, leash-walking skills, and barrier reactivity—including reactivity in the car, through the windows of the house, and while in his kennel.

Hopefully, with his new skills and a better understanding of how to work through these situations, Carl can continue moving forward and making progress with his reactivity. ❤️

A quick reminder to all the pet parents out there: Reactivity is never “fixed” in a short window of time. Changing the way a dog feels about certain things takes time, consistency, patience, and A LOT of work.

The goal isn't always an overnight transformation. Sometimes it's the small wins—the ability to redirect, listen, disengage, or recover faster—that show us we're heading in the right direction.

Carl now has new skills that give him the tools to continue making those small strides toward the end goal. We can't wait to see how far he goes! 🐾

Photo dump!! We have been super busy. Reminder next week we will be out of the office September 3rd-7th. Possibly adding September 2nd if my Pauly can get the extra day 😉. Next week Monday and Tuesday we are doing a ultra deep clean of the kennel.

Margo has been working hard these past few months, learning all she can before she heads off to her forever home! 🥰🐾 Here are some of her highlights!

Oh yes, the song fits… 😂 But honestly, Margo would be the **best kind of problem child** if she were given the opportunity to have the love, structure, and forever family she deserves. ❤️

She’s smart, playful, affectionate, and full of personality—and she’s come such a long way! Now we just need to find her the right forever home where she can continue to learn, grow, and be loved. 🫶🐶

We’re so proud of this girl! 💕

My Henry had xrays today, no abnormalities or anything that we see could be causing the symptoms he has had. More bloodwork today was taken to send off to the labs for more testing. Thank you all for the positive vibes and prayers! I just love my big guy and hate seeing him feel bad. 🫤
