Bruiser ✨ No Apologies 🪽
There are no words to honor Bruiser — patient, careful, and the most devoted horse I’ve ever known. He loved teaching beginners, jumping, and most of all, trail rides. Bruiser embraced every rider and every moment with pride and love.
Some of my favorite memories are from before he was mine — like the day he helped Luxe conquer his fear of water, and the time he ran off and I had to chase him down the highway with four cattle dogs running alongside. Maddening but unforgettable.
Bruiser taught me how to enjoy my horses. He taught me it’s not about bubble wrapping them to keep them safe. I had some of the most fun with Bruiser by my side. He was supposed to meet Sherlock before Sherlock left us.
Over the weekend, Bruiser gained his wings and they met. Both with 4 perfect, blemish free, pain free legs.
Thank you for the memories Bruiser. Thank you for drinking all the Coors I got you even though I don’t think you wanted them all. He was laid to rest with one more b**r and my fossil rock from the Little Muncy Creek, I know that was one of his most favorite places. I guess I was your Pebble too, Bruiser.
“‘That’s why we are here, isn’t it?’
said the boy.
‘To love… and be loved.’”
Give Heaven some hell, Bruiser. Fly high. ❤️🐎✨
