Our hearts are broken as we share the sudden passing of sweet Pebbles 💔

Pebbles spent her final months exactly where every shelter dog should be: In a loving home. At the end of July, our long time volunteer and previous adopter, Kim, opened her heart and home to Pebbles as a forever foster, just weeks after saying goodbye to her own beloved shelter alum, Biscuit.

Though their time together was far shorter than anyone could have imagined, we are so grateful that Pebbles spent it surrounded by the love, comfort, and care she deserved.

Kim, our hearts are with you as you grieve another tremendous loss. 🤍 The love and dedication you gave to Biscuit and Pebbles is the same love you show to every animal that crosses your path at the shelter and we hope you know how deeply appreciated you are.

Biscuit and Pebbles may have never had the chance to meet, but they will forever share something so very special: they were both lucky enough to be loved by Kim. 💛💛💛

Rest peacefully, Pebbles. You were loved, you were home and you will be deeply missed. 🌈

This is all new to Ba-Ba Balbudo and he's not quite sure what to make of this place.
Sadly this 12 yr old boy found his way to the shelter when his owner fell ill. Ba-Ba enjoys being comforted with chin scratches and gentle petting. He's getting more comfortable being held but does seem scared of other cats.
A quiet, loving and patient home would mean the world to Ba-Ba right now.
Please visit him at The Woodbridge Animal Shelter!
