Big changes are coming to Ridge Lake, and we couldn't be more excited! 🐾
Thanks to all the wonderful clients who trust us with their pets, we've outgrown our space, so we're moving to a bigger home! 🏡
Starting October 26, you'll find us alongside our sister hospital, Crossroads Animal Care Center, at 12950 Troupe Street in Woodbridge. The new space means more doctors, more services, and more appointment availability, all while keeping everything you already love:
❤️ The same amazing doctors and team
🐾 The same exceptional care
💙 The same familiar faces
The location is changing, but the heart of Ridge Lake is coming right along with us.
📌 A few quick notes:
• We'll be closed until 1pm on 10/26 as we get settled
• Already booked an appointment after that date? No worries, your spot is still yours!
Thank you for being part of the Ridge Lake family. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home! 🎉

Today is World Rabies Day. Rabies is nearly always fatal but almost entirely preventable. Keeping your pet's rabies vaccine current protects them, your family, and your community, and it's required by law in most areas. Not sure if your pet is due? We can check your records.

It's National Dog Week!

This week we're celebrating the dogs who make our lives better and the responsibility that comes with loving them: good nutrition, regular vet care, exercise, and endless belly rubs.

Cats and dogs are wired to hide illness.

In the wild, showing weakness is dangerous, so our pets often mask symptoms until they feel truly awful. That's why regular exams matter so much.

Subtle changes worth a call:
- Drinking or urinating more
- Weight changes
- Less interest in food or play
- New lumps or bumps

When in doubt, get it checked.

Gray muzzles deserve extra love. As pets enter their senior years, twice-yearly exams help us stay ahead of the changes that come with age: kidney function, arthritis, dental disease, and more. Many age-related conditions are manageable when caught early. Your senior can stay comfortable and happy for years to come. Bad breath isn't just bad breath.

Most pets have some form of dental disease by age three, and that funky smell is often the first sign. Left untreated, dental disease causes pain and can affect the heart, liver, and kidneys.

The good news? It's preventable and treatable.

Ask us about a dental check at your next visit.
