🎉❤️ ADOPTED! ❤️🎉

Cedar was given the chance she needed! After waiting patiently for her fresh start, she has officially left the building and is on her way to her new life with her forever family! 🐾🏡

We couldn’t be more excited for this sweet girl and the wonderful connection that made it all possible. Watching animals get the second chance they deserve is what it’s all about.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who shared, liked, commented, and helped spread Cedar’s story. Your support truly makes a difference and helps us reach the people who can change an animal’s life forever.

Happy tails, Cedar! We wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and endless adventures with your new family. ❤️🐶🐾

❤️Now Available for Adoption ❤️

Meet Cedar — the sweetest girl! She came to us as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came back to claim her.

Cedar is a young, affectionate girl who loves meeting new people and is always ready for attention and affection. She enjoys playing, is highly treat-motivated, and is learning her basic commands quickly. Her friendly personality and eagerness to please make her a wonderful companion.

Cedar has done great with everyone she has met so far. A home with children 12 and older is preferred, and a meet-and-greet will be required for any potential canine siblings.

✅ Just under 1 year old
✅ Up to date on vaccinations
✅ Affectionate and friendly
✅ Loves to play
✅ Treat motivated
✅ Learning basic commands

After being left behind once, Cedar deserves a family that will love her forever. Could that be you?

For adoption information or to schedule a meet-and-greet, please contact WRAC at (203) 389-5991.

🐾 Please share to help Cedar find the loving home she deserves! 🐾❤️

Does anyone have any information on this dog? This dog is not up for adoption and is an open investigation.

This dog was reportedly seen on Hubbell Ave in Beacon Falls for at least 24 hours. After WRAC saw a post from a concerned Good Samaritan on Facebook, Officer Horton responded and was able to safely contain the dog. This scared dog was curled up in a ball behind a snowblower in the back of an opened garage. With calming signals Officer Horton gained her trust within 30 seconds.

If this is your dog, or if you recognize him/her, please contact WRAC at (203) 389-5991 asap.

Thank you to the community members who took the time to report sightings and help keep this dog safe while efforts were made to secure him/her. 🐾❤️

🐾 PLEASE HELP US FIND THEM A HOME 🐾

These three wonderful dogs are still waiting for their forever families at WRAC. Each one has their own story, their own personality, and so much love to give.

❤️ Rudy – About 1 year old, full of energy and excitement for life. Rudy loves toys, car rides, attention, and making new friends. He is good with dogs he has met, and a meet-and-greet is required. Due to his energetic nature, a home with children 12 years and older is preferred.

🖤 MJ – About 2½ years old and ready for a fresh start. MJ loves running around the yard, car rides, and spending time with her people. She has been great with everyone she has met. MJ is dog selective and would do best as the only dog in the home. Children should be 12 years and older.

🤎 Lucy – About 6 years old and looking for a quiet home where she can be someone’s best friend. Lucy enjoys treats, hiking, walks, and car rides with the window up. She needs a patient adopter willing to earn her trust and show her the love she deserves. Lucy would do best in a home without children or other pets.

All three have been through difficult situations, but they haven’t given up hope. They are waiting for someone to give them the second chance they deserve.

📍 Currently available for adoption at WRAC

🐾 Meet MJ 🐾 PLEASE CALL (203)389-5991 if interested in meeting MJ.

MJ was found on the side of the road in a remote wooded area in Seymour. As far as we know, she had been there for at least 48 hours. She was wearing a collar and was clearly cared for at one point, but sadly no owner ever came forward for her.

Now it’s our turn to help MJ find the forever home and fresh start she deserves. ❤️

MJ is:
• Approximately 2 years old
• Spayed female
• Up to date on vaccinations
• Lab Mix

MJ has met Rudy, one of WRAC’s residents, and they got along well! A meet and greet would be required for any home with other dogs.

MJ is an incredibly sweet girl. She can be a little shy at first, but with a few treats and some patience, she quickly becomes your best friend. 🐶

If you are interested in meeting MJ or learning more about adoption, please contact WRAC at (203)389-5991.

🐾 Another great community save! 🐾

We want to send a huge thank you to the Seymour Fire Department and Fire Chief Chris Edwards for their quick response, teamwork, and dedication in helping with another animal rescue effort.

These situations truly show what can be accomplished when the community works together to help animals in need, especially the residents on Greenwood Circle. We are grateful for the continued partnership and support from Seymour FD in keeping both residents and animals safe. ❤️🐾

Great job by everyone involved!
