🐾🏡 A Little Home Away From Home! 🏡🐾

Planning a getaway but wondering where your fur baby will stay?

At Flying Fur Dog Spa & Boarding, I believe boarding should be more than just a place to sleep. ❤️

I intentionally keep my boarding facility small so I can give each guest individual attention and get to know their personality, routine, and needs.

🐶 Small-dog boarding under 40lbs
🐾 Outdoor playtime
❤️ Individual attention and cuddles
📸 Updates while you’re away
🏡 Owner lives on the property

New to Flying Fur? That’s okay! We can discuss scheduling a meet-and-greet to see if our boarding environment is a good fit.

📱 Call or text 918-525-7121 for more information.

Because your fur baby deserves a comfortable stay while you’re away! 🐾❤️

Something spooky is happening at Flying Fur… 👀🎃

The salon is officially ready for Halloween, and now all we need are the furry little monsters! 😂🐾

October is going to be full of freshly groomed pups, Halloween pictures, helpful pet-care tips and our new Weekly Ghoul feature!

And don’t worry — the only thing scary about these grooms will be the backdrop. 😂✂️👻

Drop a 🎃 in the comments if Halloween is your favorite time of year!

🎃👻 It’s officially spooky season at Flying Fur! 👻🎃

Our Halloween backdrop is up and ready for all of this month’s freshly groomed little ghosts, goblins, witches, and monsters! 🐾🧡

And since we had so much fun with our weekly MVP last month, we’re giving it a Halloween twist…

👻 Introducing our Weekly Ghoul! 👻

Each week in October, I’ll choose one of my grooming babies to be crowned Flying Fur’s Weekly Ghoul! 🏆🎃 Who will be our first one?

I still have openings next week, so there’s time to get your pup cleaned up, Halloween-photo ready, and maybe even earn that first Weekly Ghoul title! 🐶🛁✂️

📲 Message the page or call/text 918-525-7121 to schedule.

🐾 Behind the Grooming Table: “How Does My Dog Really Behave?”

Every dog handles grooming differently. Some are confident, some are nervous Nellies, and others have certain parts of grooming they strongly dislike. That doesn’t make them a bad dog!

As your groomer, I believe in being honest about what I observe. If your dog struggles with the dryer, feet, face, brushing, clippers, or another part of the groom, I want you to know. Open communication allows us to make safer decisions and create a grooming plan that supports your dog.

It also matters if you ever move or need to visit another groomer. I want you to be able to explain your dog’s needs clearly so the next groomer isn’t surprised by a behavior that could put your dog—or the groomer—at risk.

Groomers are not dog trainers or veterinary behaviorists. We can use patience, positive reinforcement, breaks, different handling methods, and repeated routines to encourage better behavior, but some struggles may never completely disappear.

Dogs can also change from one appointment to the next. One day they may decide, “This isn’t so bad!” The next time, they may need extra reassurance again. Progress is not always a straight line.

My goal is not a “perfect” dog. My goal is to understand the dog in front of me, keep them safe, and help them have the best grooming experience they are capable of having that day. ❤️
