Our Ranch riding clinic will focus on developing a willing, responsive, and natural-moving Ranch horse that is able to be ridden both in and out of the show pen.
This clinic, taught by multiple carded & licensed Ranch Versatility judge, Lori Ricigliano , will cover key pattern maneuvers, transitions, and gait control. Focusing on perfecting the extension & collection of gaits; lope-to-trot transitions, sidepassing, turning, and precise, soft guiding. Pattern Ex*****on, Gait Transitions & Required Maneuvers will be taught, including introducing turnarounds, sidepassing, spins, and stops. Also covered will be what the Ranch judge is looking for in a class. Rounding out the day will be negotiating Ranch Trail Obstacles including dragging objects snd basic rope throwing / handling techniques along with proper Ranch show horse turnout.
