We are so THRILLED to officially welcome Dr. Breanna Varnell to the Frenship Veterinary Clinic family beginning June 1st! 🐾❤️

Returning to the Frenship community as a veterinarian is incredibly special to Dr. Brea because this is the community that raised her. She attended Frenship schools from kindergarten through graduation, and it means so much to now give back by caring for the pets and people here at home.

Dr. Brea recently graduated from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies and playing softball at Lubbock Christian University.

She loves working with a variety of animals and looks forward to caring for companion animals, exotics, and pocket pets. Whether your pet is here for a wellness visit or a more advanced medical workup, her goal is always to provide compassionate, thorough care while building trust and lasting relationships with every family she meets.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Brea enjoys live music, sports, and spending time with her husband and family.

We can’t wait for you and your pets to meet her! 🐶🐱

We are so excited to announce that a familiar face is still with us — and for those of you who haven’t had the chance to meet her yet…

Meet Dr. Katie! 🐾

Dr. Katie is a proud Texas Tech alum who first started at Frenship Veterinary Clinic while still a student. After graduating veterinary school from Texas A&M in 2014, she returned to Frenship as a veterinarian and has been caring for pets in our community ever since. ❤️

When she’s not at the clinic, she and her husband stay busy keeping up with their three kids and all of their various sports and activities! In her little bit of free time, Dr. Katie enjoys reading, listening to true crime podcasts (uh-oh… watch out! 😉), gardening, and cooking dinner for her family.

Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is building relationships with clients and treating every pet like one of her own. We are so thankful to have her as part of the Frenship family! 🐶🐱

🐾 Please help us officially welcome Dr. Emily Broadway as the new owner and veterinarian of Frenship Vet Clinic! 🐾

Dr. Broadway graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 and moved to Lubbock shortly after with her husband while he attended graduate school at Texas Tech. Fourteen years later, they still proudly call Lubbock home and are raising their three busy boys here!

In August 2025, Dr. Broadway purchased Frenship Vet Clinic from Dr. Steve. She also owns 82nd Street Vet Clinic and is passionate about providing locally owned veterinary care where pet owners can truly get to know their veterinarian.

Dr. Broadway strives to provide quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families. She believes veterinary medicine should be rooted in kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and love.

Outside of the clinic, she and her husband enjoy being involved in their church, spending time with their three young sons, cooking out, getting lost in a good book, and cheering on Mississippi State and Texas Tech football. 🏈

Dr. Broadway and the Frenship Vet Clinic team have some exciting things on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Stay tuned! 🐶💙
