Rehome Needed for Fern, an Irish Golden - Bernese mix girl who was born 3/23/24. She is a very sweet natured girl who gets along well with other dogs. She is in good health and her puppy shots are done.
Fern was adopted by a retired couple about a month ago. They took two puppies (both Fern and Sadie). Her puppy photos can be seen here: https://www.bernerpuppy.com/golden-mountain-dog-puppies-for-sale. Two puppies is a huge commitment and something that I usually discourage families from doing. But they were retired and very committed to the big task of training two puppies at once.
They had unexpected significant care needed with their older dog due to a knee injury. Between caring for their older dog and needing to train two puppies, they felt stretched beyond their resources. So they contacted me a few days ago wondering if I might be able to help them find a good family for her. They are sad about the current circumstances but also want what is best for all of their dogs.
Fern is current on her vet care and they have been working on her with her obedience training. She can sit and stay now. Her parents are OFA screened hip/elbow/heart/eye and DNA tested as well.
The photos shown here were shared from her new family. Her adoption fee is minimal, but they do want a very good family for her and will be selective on who takes her.
