🦆 HAPPY OPENING DAY! 🦆
The day we’ve been working for is finally here!
All those early mornings, countless retrieves, steady work, muddy paws, and hours of training come down to days like today. There’s nothing better than watching these dogs get out there and do what they were bred and trained to do.
To all of my GBO gundogs and their owners hitting the field this season, GOOD LUCK & HUNT SAFE! I hope the birds are flying, the dogs are on fire, and you make memories you’ll talk about for years to come.
And y’all better send me those hunting pictures!!

Lucy girl is going home… again. 🥹
Back in December, Lucy came to me for obedience. Her original owner loved her enough to recognize that Lucy needed a different kind of life, one where all that energy and drive could actually be put to use. She wanted to find Lucy a home that could give her the life she knew she needed.
Her new owner brought her right back to Good Boy Obedience, except this time, she wasn’t here just to learn manners. She came back to become a gundog.
And now she’s headed home just in time for her and her new owner to get ready for their first hunting season together.
It’s pretty cool getting to watch the whole story come full circle. Her original owner knew she needed more, made the hard decision to give her that opportunity, and now Lucy is leaving with exactly the job I knew she needed.

🤍 ONE YEAR OF GOOD BOY OBEDIENCE 🤍

A whole year. It’s honestly hard to put into words what this means to me.
Good Boy Obedience started with a dream, a lot of faith, and the hope that if I took the chance on myself, everything would work out. I knew I loved training dogs. I knew this was what I was meant to do. But I could have never imagined just how much love and support would come with it.
This past year has been filled with early mornings, late nights, muddy clothes, wet dogs, endless hair, slobbery kisses, frustrating days, proud moments and so many dogs that have left a permanent place in my heart.
But more than anything, it’s been filled with trust.
Every single person who has handed me a leash and trusted me with a dog they love like family has allowed me to live a dream I once wasn’t sure I’d ever get the chance to chase. That will never be something I take lightly.
I’ve watched nervous dogs find confidence, wild puppies learn manners, hunting dogs discover what they were made to do, and owners get to enjoy their dogs in ways they couldn’t before. I’ve celebrated the smallest wins like they were the biggest ones — because to me, they are.
Good Boy Obedience may have my name behind it, but it was built by every client who believed in me, every person who recommended me, every share, every comment, every returning dog and every person who told someone, “Take your dog to Good Boy.”
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to love your dogs, train them, care for them and make them part of the Good Boy family.
Happy 1st birthday, Good Boy Obedience.
I’m so proud of what this little dream has become…and we’re only getting started. 🤍

Beanie We**ie is headed home!
Miss Bean came in with all the personality and left with the manners to match. She’s still the same goofy girl everyone loves just now she knows how to be respectful, polite, and a whole lot more enjoyable to take everywhere.
She worked hard on her obedience, leash manners, impulse control, and learning that listening can still be fun. We can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead for this sweet girl!
