Meet Slinky! 🐾

This sweet 32-pound girl is looking for her forever home, and honestly, she makes it pretty easy to fall in love. She's never destroyed a thing, has zero dislikes so far, and loves people more than anything in the world. ♥️

She lives for squeaker balls and Canine Carry Outs — simple pleasures for a simple, good girl.

If you've been waiting for a sign to adopt, Slinky is it. 🐾

Join us on May 31st at 1:05 p.m. for a day out with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, where tails will be wagging and a good time is basically guaranteed. We have a group outing set up so for $20 per ticket your crew can get:
-Admission to the game
-A meal voucher
-A Rafters hat to complete your baseball fan look

We'll be running a 50/50 raffle during the game to benefit the South Wood County Humane Society, so you could walk away with a little extra cash in your pocket while helping the animals in our care.

What an incredible day! Last Saturday, our community showed up in a big way for the 5K9 — and we are still smiling about it.

From Clifford the Big Red Dog sending off our walkers and runners, to the sea of dogs enjoying well-deserved pup cups, it was a day full of joy from start to finish. None of it would have been possible without our generous sponsors and every single person who came out to walk, run, and cheer.

Together, we raised over $13,000 for the animals in our care — and that is something truly worth celebrating!

We are so grateful for this amazing community. 🐾
