Winthrop Veterinary Services (WVS) was founded in 1990 by Dr. Betsy Devin-Smith. Originally, she practiced out of her truck as a mobile vet and then out of a small cabin on the property where she currently lives. The practice started out small and has grown and changed to meet the needs of the Methow Valley. "Dr. Betsy" provides both small and large animal services in the Methow Valley and extend

ing all the way to Loomis for some of her large animal clients. Dr. Gina Pastore joined WVS in 2009 and focuses primarily on small animal medicine and surgery.
