Hello Sandy Paws Family!!
As many of you know, after many years of operating, under multiple owners, Sandy Paws will be closing its doors today.
This is one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make, but for my own well being, it is a necessity.
From the various conversations regarding dogs to multiple personal conversations with individuals, this puts us - staff and myself - in a place of sadness. We will cherish the conversations of your dog’s play and new friends. We will not miss the conversations regarding p**p or other biohazardous moments. We appreciated that many clients put their dog’s care into our hands and relied so much on our attentiveness to various issues. We will remember the personal family conversations, watching families and children grow, and learn about progress moments that we would share with each other to celebrate these great moments that impact your dog and your family. We will also remember the sad moments of illnesses and always hope for a speedy recovery and updates. We have celebrated the exciting moments and we have grieved losses together. We may have been a daycare, grooming, and boarding facility, but we were there supporting you, your family, and your dogs by your side. Sandy Paws has always been a community about welcoming those into our community and making efforts to provide the most transparent and supportive care for your dog.
While Sandy Paws was established long before I came into the business, I have grown to appreciate those that have been a part of our community and will carry many of our stories - both human and dog - into the next part of my chapter with great fondness. I will remember the good and the bad, and think about all the dogs and their unique behaviors. This place has been rewarding in many ways and will deeply impact my next steps.
I am grateful to have met and worked with you all.
