Keep Your Pets Safe This Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🐾

The Fourth of July is a fun celebration for us but for many of our furry friends, fireworks can be overwhelming. Help keep your pets safe, comfortable and at home this holiday with these simple tips:

**Safety First**
• Check ID Tags & Microchips: Make sure your pet's ID tags are current and that their microchip information is up to date.
• Potty Before Dusk: Take your dog out for a final potty break before fireworks begin. Even in a fenced yard, keep them on a leash. Unexpected fireworks can startle even the calmest pets.
• Secure Your Home: Close windows, blinds and curtains to help reduce flashing lights and

**Create a Safe Space**
• Set up a cozy retreat in a quiet room, crate, or interior space with their favorite bed, blankets and toys.
• Help mask the sound of fireworks by turning on a fan, running the air conditioner, or playing calming music or white

**Extra Tips**
• Keep pets indoors throughout the evening.
• Offer treats, toys, or enrichment activities to help distract them.
• If your pet has severe anxiety during fireworks, call or email us this week to discuss other options to keep them comfortable.

LITTLE BEAR is a 3 y/o, 130 lb, male (intact), Saint Bernewfie, with black and white coloring. He is also wearing a collar. Both dogs are friendly, but please don't call or follow them.
