Saving Grace is a (501c3) nonprofit foster-based animal rescue focusing on saving lives of animals in overcrowded kill shelters. To provide loving homes & will be accepting owner surrenders. We do not have breed discrimination when it comes to saving. Our priority will be pregnant/nursing moms, orphan puppies & seniors. State of Wisconsin licensed and inspected: 510929-DS

What is rescue like? The raw truth?
Rescue is a cycle of constant ups and downs.
Life at a glimpse.

It’s dogs destroying an entire room in your home.
It’s personal emergency visits.
It’s showing up for your family.
It’s showing up for new rescues.
It’s a cold Dr Pepper for breakfast.
It’s losing personal dogs to old age.
It’s hives.
It’s losing your last grandma and your little cousin.

It’s everything but convenient.

This year has taught me that even while walking through the flames of H€||, I get turned away because even he doesn’t want me. At times this year, I’ve dropped to my knees more times than anyone could imagine. At times, it felt like my entire soul had been ripped out of my body.

When you get a less-than-desirable response from a rescuer, it isn’t because we don’t understand the excuses. It’s because we’ve been through it too and have never turned our backs. Ever. Never a thought.

I am the same loving person that does it all with a lot going on so that excuse will NEVER land well with me. You’ll never find me too busy even when it is hard because it is never easy.

Delilah delivered 5 pups.

I was with her the entire night to assist;
First born was 10:07pm and last around 1:30am

💝Mom and puppies are doing fantastic, of course the puppies are micro in size so they do have a long journey ahead of them. Positive vibes they all continue to thrive.
