October anniversaries are here! 💙🎉 This month, we’re celebrating another year around the sun at VHA for some pretty incredible people, including milestones of 6 years, 5 years, 4 years & more!

Every year represents so much more than a number. It’s another year of caring for pets and their people, supporting teammates, growing in your craft, navigating the hard days, celebrating the wins, and helping make VHA what it is.

Yesterday, our board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Samantha Sedgwick, led our team through continuing education on mechanical ventilation, building knowledge our clinical teams can carry directly into patient care.

At VHA, education isn’t an occasional event. It’s part of how we grow.

Through our internal education team and Clinical Skills Program, our team members have a clear pathway to continue developing their clinical skills, advance in their careers, take on greater responsibility, and increase their earning potential along the way.

Because when we invest in our people, we elevate the medicine we’re capable of providing.

The update we’ve ALL been waiting for… part 2 of Buddy’s story!

BUDDY IS WALKING! 🥹💙🐾

From being unable to use any of his four limbs to walking at his recheck, this little guy has come such a long way.

These are the updates our team lives for! A huge thank you to our Emergency, ICU and Neurology teams who cared for Buddy every step of the way, and to Buddy’s incredible parents for trusting us with their boy and giving him the chance to fight.
