Everyone did well through Hurricane Irma and their Barn area had no damage despite 75+ wind. Page is out of date, but we still have a small number of Nubians we mainly enjoy as Pets.

6 1/2 years ago I began my research about purchasing a few Nubian dairy goats so my dogs could have the health benefits of raw milk. The first herd I fell in love with was Six M Galaxy and the animals of Jacob's Pride with Six M Galaxy foundation stock. At the time, I really couldn't afford anything from there and rescued 2 goats nearby. A couple of years ago visiting a Dairy goat show a doe caught my eye by the name of Luckytohave Omolara. Later she became available and I was fortunate enough to purchase her 3 days ago. I looked at her pedigree on ADGA 2 days ago and traced back the maternal line back to Woest-Hoeve then further back Six M Galaxy. I had unknowingly purchased a maternal Six M Galaxy line. Now living on 14 acres with the animals I realize that the American dream can come true and to Always move Forward despite all odds. Omolara has really matured nicely since the first time I saw her. She is a very long and tall doe. Her milk is Very rich just like a Nubian should be and I've fallen back in love with those old Six M Galaxy animals all over again. I want to thank Kelley Deveny for allowing me to bring Omolara home. Kelly found Omolara at the Colorado National show from a Nubian breeder out of Oregon. I feel Very blessed to have her. Pictured below is Omolara 2 years ago. One side of her udder picture blew out unfortunately which ultimately held her placing back in the show ring, but she still holds considerable valuable as brood doe. Did I mention her voice is rather quiet for a Nubian... I LOVE quiet Nubians.

I'd like to Thank Risin' Creek Nubians (Tim Vanzant) for allowing me to purchase a buck out one of their Beautiful Does named Risin' Creek Proof Ecentric (3 yr. old 2nd freshener). The Sire is Lakeshore BE Lickity Split. Extremely pleased with our new Jr. Herd sire, Risin' Creek Lickity Snickets (pending).
