🎲 We named him Vegas because we rolled the dice on him… and his bill was instantly $1,200 🐱💰

After emergency surgery for a broken jaw and a week’s stay at our vet, Vegas is back with us!

Vegas is not a feral cat, he’s actually a total lover!

As you know, we are not a cat rescue. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have hearts or know when to step in. Vegas needed help, and we couldn’t leave him suffering.

He likely has a second surgery ahead once his jaw has started healing, so we’re sure there are more bills to come. Apparently, Vegas isn’t done placing bets with our bank account. 😅

What he needs most right now is a foster—or a foster-to-adopt home. We know it’s a big ask, but we’re hoping someone within traveling distance of Hardee Animal Clinic can give this boy a place to recover.

📍 Fort Meade, Wauchula, surrounding areas—or anyone able to travel for 1–2 appointments for Vegas—please reach out.

For now, he’s safe with us, but he has to stay in a kennel because none of our staff or current fosters have a dedicated space for him. We would love to give him a comfortable place to heal with someone to keep him company.

Can you take a chance on Vegas, too? Message us to talk about fostering, and please consider donating toward his care. If you can’t do either, sharing could help us find his person. 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ Pawpito is getting braver… and falling harder for someone else’s girlfriend.

Our little potato is making HUGE progress in foster, and we’re hoping his forever family finds him soon so he can keep building that trust in the home he’ll get to stay in.

His foster would love to keep him, but she has four children, and Pawpito needs a quiet home without kids. He has never shown aggression toward them, but when they’re running around and playing, he clearly shuts down. He deserves a home where he can feel safe enough to keep coming out of his shell.

He also desperately needs a home with a girlfriend before he falls permanently in love with Penelope. She’s been wonderful for his confidence, but we need to find this boy his own happily ever after. 😂❤️

A calm female dog, a quiet home, and someone patient who will let him move at his own pace. That’s what we’re wishing for Pawpito.

Please consider opening your home. Send us a message today, and let’s talk about Pawpito. 🐾❤️

🚫PAUSING APPLICATIONS! Joker has received over 20 applications today. We are reviewing them, and will update everyone tomorrow!

🚨 ALMOST 600 DAYS. STILL NO FOREVER HOME. 🚨

Joker has been with us since March 2025. Roughly 600 days waiting for a family to call his own.

We cannot believe he’s still waiting.

This 3-year-old Rottweiler is one of the best dogs to come through our rescue. He loves kids, loves other dogs, is good with cats, and walks well on a leash. We even put him through a complete training course as a precaution, giving him a strong foundation in boundaries and manners.

When Joker came to us, he was severely malnourished and needed major medical care. Seeing the happy, healthy-looking boy he is today, you’d never know how much he’s overcome. ❤️

He was also heartworm positive last year and has been receiving treatment. His most recent test was still a very low positive, and we will have him retested before his adoption is finalized.

🏡 Joker needs a fenced backyard for exercise. We’re hoping to find someone with Rottweiler experience who will appreciate just how special this boy is.

He’s already spent more than a year and a half in rescue. Please help us make sure he doesn’t reach another anniversary here.

If you’ve been looking for a Rotti to love, please consider Joker. If you know someone who loves the breed, send them this post.

Almost 600 days is long enough. It’s Joker’s turn. 🐾

Want to update mom is doing good and baby is in incubator with a bottle feeder that is tub feeding the baby . He is a premie and born early I’m guessing she only has the two babies and one she was either eating or it was deformed and born that way . She will go see the vet and check to make sure all is good and probably go on antibiotics
