Apparently, story time is part of the job description. 📚🐶🤎

BERRYBROOK F***Y TOMPTE TOES is one of our future Berrybrook mamas, but for now her only job is to be a very loved family dog. And judging by this photo, she’s taking her role as official reading buddy very seriously. 🥹

She lives with her wonderful Guardian Family, where she gets to grow up surrounded by the kind of everyday love, kids, cuddles, adventures and family life that we want for every Berrybrook dog.

Someday, if all of her health testing is completed and she continues to develop into the dog we hope she will be, F***y may have puppies of her own.

But today?

She’s just F***y.
A girl, her dog walker, a good book… and apparently a very gripping chapter. 😂📖

What if your puppy came home at 4 months old… with TWO MONTHS of professional training already behind them? 🐶✨

Gem + Rocket’s “Spice” litter is 7 weeks old this week and getting ready for their next big step.

Three of these babies will head home next week, but three are staying with us and heading to the Berrybrook Training Academy for their families.

Our trained puppies receive two full months of professional training and go home at approximately 4 months old with a strong foundation for life with their new family.

Before they go home, they will have:

🐾 Two months of professional puppy training
🐾 Age-appropriate manners, routines and life skills
🐾 Veterinary care and four rounds of vaccinations administered by a veterinarian
🐾 An almost hour-long personalized training video that becomes your family’s instruction manual and reference guide for everything your puppy has learned
🐾 Continued support from Berrybrook after your puppy goes home
🐾 Six follow-up training sessions with us so we can continue working with you and your puppy after they are home

That last part is especially important to me.

We don’t hand you a trained puppy and say, “Good luck!” You have the video to go back to whenever you need a refresher, plus six sessions where we continue helping you apply the training in your own home and real life. No one has ever used six, many don’t use any as the training video is very informative, but they are there if you need a refresher.

Because the goal isn’t just to send home a puppy who knows things.

The goal is to help create a family and a puppy who understand each other.

I intentionally reserve a small number of training spots from my litters, so if you’re hoping for a December puppy who comes home around 4 months old with two months of training already completed, now is the time to reach out.

Your Google reviews means so much to me! Happy was from Rocket and Jolene’s Muppet Babies litter and he was Kermit. He graduated from the training program here at Berrybrook. We are big fans of Dolly Parton around here. Jolene is named after her song, because her mama said she was going to steal her husband. Dolly is a mama for me as well and is expecting puppies this month.
No one needs to be told what a wonderful person Dolly was. I think we all just need to honor her by trying to be a little more like her in our every day.
I was a little girl who walked around hugging her albums because I have always loved music and need to be listening to a story through an audio book or a good songwriter. She was the best storyteller.
Happy, you have made your dad so Happy. Blake, thank you for trusting me to raise your puppy. I had some big shoes to fill with your last dog and I am so pleased your love your puppy from me. Thanks for taking the time to write this Google review.
