She is heading to the Berrybrook Training Academy as a foundation trained puppy for her mama! I love it when a client waits until the right litter comes along and then chooses to send her princess into the training program to learn best friend skills. She is smart, trainable and oh so cute! Her new name is Liz but it’s really Chestnut. Who knows what language Chestnut sounds like Liz in English? I think Chestnut is the cutest name for a pup! She will fly home to California in 8 short weeks with four rounds of vaccines completed as well as a lengthy training video and six follow sessions with my trainer and lengthy phone calls before to customize training and generalize the puppy to the new home.

This is Dolly as a puppy. She has a litter of puppies now herself and she has two little girls just like her! One is available as a foundation trained puppy going home at 4 months old mid January. That means you get to enjoy the holidays and I will send you a photo to wrap to put under the tree and you can still travel for New Years. When you get back home we will help you set up your home to welcome your new best friend that has been vaccinated four times and is sleeping through the night in a crate and has wonderful manners and leash walking skills.

Graduating from the Berrybrook Doodles Foundation Training Academy November 16 as a MICRO mini Australian Labradoodle expected to be between 8-12 pounds. He is only 3.1 pounds at 12 weeks old so possibly 8-10 pounds. He has deep red roots and a straight coat. We hand carry on ✈️ and into your hands at your airport. He’s smart! He’s fun and will do well in any home placement as he’s very well rounded with a confident and friendly demeanor. I just sent his sister home yesterday and I’m about to post her video of how she is doing in her new home!

Rosalind is heading into the Berrybrook Foundation Training Program for her family and they are soooooo excited to get her in two months! Did you know some clients decide to have their puppies trained and the puppies enter my training program at 8 weeks? I also sometimes send puppies into training knowing I will have new clients that don’t want to have to wait 6 months for a foundation trained puppy.
This is why I started doing this:
2 months and 1 week to “bake” a puppy
2 months to raise babies
2 months to train the puppy.

6 months and 1 week from birth to go home.
Thats if you find me the day I breed a mama dog! It doesn’t work like that though. We have to wait for a mama to go into season and that’s every 5-12 months and then the clock starts. Having a couple of reserved spots on a litter can jump start the process for my clients.

Newton is flying off to NY tomorrow and I’m so excited for our little boy and his family. Send me all the pupdates. Newton is being hand carried by my flight nanny and will be placed in his mamas arm at her airport. Never cargo, because they are Berrybrook BABIES!

ANNOUNCING! I am now breeding LionDoodles in addition to the Australian Labradoodle at Berrybrook just to hop on the “breed everything to a poodle”phase we are going through. Did you know the Australian labradoodle is the original doodle breed bred with a purpose to create a smart, trainable, non aggressive, therapy or service dogs for people with allergies and they have been bred since the 1980s? This is intentional breeding with health testing, temperament testing, multi generational with breed standards set. No, DoUbLe D🌰🌰dle or whatever that is. Just Australian Labradoodle to an Australian Labradoodle. Posy’s babies are leaving and their families are soooo happy.
