Such great exposure for him!!🙌🏾

Stop forcing your scared dog to be your protector!

A lot of time we think that because our dogs bark at people it means that they’re confident and that they will protect you!

9/10 that’s not the case, and most cases of dog is not socialized properly with different environments, situation, or settings, so it lets off a vocal warning that it’s uncomfortable, and when people respond to that warning by backing up and giving the dog space, the Dog sees that as the behavior that it should do to keep things that it’s uncomfortable with away!

that doesn’t actually mean that the dog is not scared of a situation. It just has used aggression to make the thing that it perceives is danger to go away!

So now you have a scared guy waving a gun around just because he’s scared of different things…

Understand the difference between a protector and somebody who is just afraid and uses a gun in cases where it’s not needed…

Hopefully that you didn’t go right over your head, but if it did come in and book a session and I can explain better!

This is some of our advanced service dog training class🐶

Walking around the mall, throughout stores, and in the food court is great exposure for the dogs and for teaching them to not only be comfortable in those environments but to also follow their owner despite all the distractions around✅
