We plan to offer about half of our birds for sale. We will have rare colored homers, some are plain blues that carry rare patterns, we will have about half of our altenburg trumpeters available (mealy and cream), half of our Classis old Frill satinettes and half of our South German Nuns.
Prices will be $25 a bird with 10 bird minimum. Pick up at our house or ship.If i ship, i choose the birds for you. you pay for box and shipping.

Another late hatch, this one is Jason. Both parents proven racers. Will be fun to put her in the breeding loft when she’s ready.

This late hatch cream bar has finished her molt! She’s looking good too. I plan to put her in to my ash yellow family. Bred by Tom.

The loft is clean, dry, birds are gearing up for breeding season and I need to vaccinate when it’s not 10° out.
Not sure how many color expressions or patterns here but it makes me happy to see them all.

what are your go to treatments in prepartion for breeding season?
for me its:
Cleaning out the Loft
DeWorming
Vaccinating
probiotics and vitamins
increase in protein in their feed
clean out the loft.
clean out nest bowls, waters and individual breeding pens.

Barless homers have long been a favorite of mine (followed closely by dark checks and t-pattern!). I started with Janssen based flyers with some HVR, Buitta, Coudou, Verbruggen, Mueleman, Trenton and others from local fliers.
I went to the National Young Bird Show, amount other places and met Tom
Barnhart through dragoons and homers. He started me with my first barless and first barless carriers. I believe it was an indigo bar and a blue barless pair. I also got a blue bar carrying barless and a cream bar c**k (that didn’t carry barless). These combined with my flyers created some stunning birds.

Through the years, I’ve had. Blue and silver, ash red, ash yellow, indigo, rec opal, dominant opa, brown, and khaki barless. This year I also added blue grizzle barless!

It’s been fun watching them develop over the years, all the way back 25 years ago the same family.

Now that I have some flying bird blood to inject in to them thanks to Jason Sieveking, Steven Ly and Tom Barnhart, I should be set for a long time to come.

I do have about 10 pair I need to trim down but it’s harder than you think!
