We lost Uncle Bud last year and things haven’t been the same here. There is no BrownLand Kennels without Uncle Bud Land. There are good memories of great hounds we had the pleasure to run and good times together breeding, training and running our bloodlines. I will continue to judge hunts as long as my health and schedule allows, but there will be no more BrownLand Kennels. It was a great ride. Miss Uncle Bud every day. Hope the younger generation will breed the right kind and keep our sport alive. Thanks for your support over the years. Kipp

Uncle Bud got his headstone. Miss him every day.As he would say, “Ain’t got a chance if you don’t take a chance”.

Uncle Bud Time!
Another picked up from Big Charles when hand grabbing.
"That's as dangerous as crapping in an open well with the rim coated in Crisco!"

Uncle Bud was always up for a good time running hounds and visiting with friends. When referring to a happening that was sure to be fun he had another jewel of a statement. “They’re fixing to put the big pot in the little one!”

Another Uncle Bud saying that we picked up from Big Charles. “Fits like socks on a rooster.”

Just another famous saying from Uncle Bud.
“He took off like a burnt turtle!”
Miss him.
