Winona Animal Shelter proudly presents “Doggy Day Dates”

If your interested in sheltering or adoption but aren’t quite convinced it’s for you try a Day Date. Take one of the shelter animals for 30 minutes, an hour, several hours or a day or two. This helps the animals in so many ways. Contact the shelter at 662-602-0003 to schedule your next outing with a sweet companion.

So a few weeks ago I received a call from a business in town. A box of 12 pups had been left at their back door. These babies were so small shouldn’t have even been taken from moma.
Between the shelter and a foster they are thriving and eating. They received first shots and wormer today. We are looking for forever homes for these sweet babies. Eating soft food and drinking water just fine. (Keeping the runt for now until I feel she’s strong enough to be homed.)

She has been placed in a home. Thank you to everyone for showing her the outpouring of love.

Female German Shephard showed up 2 years ago and they have tried everyone around to find her owner. Being animal lovers, they have been fostering her all this time. Unfortunately the couple are in their eighties and simply can’t keep her any longer. She is a jealous animal though and doesn’t do well with other animals. Is anyone willing to give beautiful Queenie a home?
