Joyner Family Farms

Joyner Family Farms Family owned Horse farm. Horse breeding with the APHA. C**t starting services. Horsemanship also

We at Joyner Family Farms work with your and our horses with a soft hand and patience. The biggest obstacle with starting and training any horse is earning the trust and confidence of the horse. By building a trust our horses learn faster and become more relaxed and willing by just knowing that the humans around them only want what they want, a calm experience and a bonding experience. Most proble

m solving with a horse usually works it's way back to a bad experience with a person. Call us and let us help you and your horse become all that the two of you can become as a riding team.

Having a much better hay day today. Baling round bales in the air conditioning of our cab tractor. Yesterday’s hay was open tractor and direct sunlight for 7 hours. But we have been blessed with two days of great hay for the farm.

Today after trimming horses feet for almost 40 years I switched from a rasp to a side grinder. And as always all these great calm horses took it like it was nothing to worry about. Pawnee, Cloud, and even our 2 year old Diamond never spooked or worried at all this morning when I trimmed them. It went from 8 minutes or so a hoof to 2 or 3 minutes a hoof.

The cows here at the house are dropping new calves every day right now. Thank you Lord for these blessings to our farm. Each calf that goes to the sale barn these days brings us a nice pay check. And we praise our Father in heaven for that.

Baling great looking bales and then you hear a loud pop. And just like that your day in the hay fields gets a little longer. But God granted me calm and peace with it and it will get repaired and I’ll get back to it today with God’s blessing.

Even at only 4 days old they know to look for the shade when it’s this hot. Sam’s new calf likes the canopy tent we set up to give them shade.
