You can tell how I feel about my c**ts by what saddle I put on them.
Cutting saddle? I don’t trust them. It’s my sacrificial c**t saddle. They might decide they can’t resist a roll, rubbing against a fence, or getting goofy and tripping over their own feet.
My Lynn McKenzie? We’ve built some trust up and I’m getting comfortable on them.
Cowhorse? They have some real life skills and do real work!
My blue Martin? I trust them with my life and my favorite saddle.

I was starting to think DD would spend the rest of her life in my cutting saddle 😂 but she is really maturing and graduated to her first barrel saddle! The more I ride her the more I like her, I can feel those Pepto lines rising to the top and she’s going to have some cool moves on her big running horse body!

It’s 7 AM on your birthday when your husband calls… ☎️

You asked for experiences instead of gifts this year, and let’s just say the man DELIVERED. 😂

No flowers. No jewelry. No fancy breakfast. Just a husband stuck in the meadow who needs a rescue mission to pull his truck out of a ditch. Somehow he even had the birthday hat ready in the truck 🤣

And just like that, welcome to 35. 💁🏼‍♀️

This is ranch life. No refunds, no exchanges, and apparently, no sleeping in on your birthday. You don’t get older, you just get more experienced at pulling your husband out of the holes he puts himself in. 🚜

Wouldn’t trade this life for anything… but I might be revising my birthday wish list for next year. 🤣🤠🌾
