These 3-year-old Hound mix siblings are affectionate, adventurous, and always very happy to see who’s coming through the gate. They love getting out, meeting new people, and making sure neither one misses out on any attention.

They came to Paws Place together, and now we’d really love to see what’s next for these two.

🐾💙 HAPPY GOTCHA DAY 💙🐾

We’re so happy to share an update on Mr. Waffles!
He has been adjusting wonderfully to his new home and settling into life with his family. He’s still figuring out that going through doors isn’t so spooky, but he’s slowly building his confidence one step at a time.

His new mom and dad love him so much, and we couldn’t be happier knowing Waffles is surrounded by so much love!

Barktoberfest was one for the books! 🍻

Rain and a triathlon couldn't stop us, you all still came out, met the dogs, and made the whole afternoon feel like exactly what we hoped it would be! We raised money for Paws Place, the pups had an absolute blast, and we got to spend the day with so many people who love them.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our first Barktoberfest such a success!

A huge thank you to Savard B**r & Board (and ) for hosting us, for crushing it with the caricatures as usual, .jpg for capturing the best pics of our pups, Memento Baking Co. for the delicious pastries, Hooks Hotdogs for fueling us, and all the wonderful volunteers who helped make it happen!

We had the best time and are already looking forward to the next one. Deck the Paws, anyone? 💚

Cinnamon Update! 🐾

Our sweet Cinnamon is doing wonderfully after her double CCL surgery! She's getting around very well at Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center and recovering beautifully. She's walking with a sling, and she'll need it for the next few weeks to keep her at a safe pace.

She is being so, so brave, and she adores the techs at ECVR. We think she knows how much they're helping her walk again. 🥺

She's on track for a healthy recovery. Thank you all for the love and well wishes! 💛

✨TONGUE OUT TUESDAY✨

I’m Mr. Bobinsky from the Coraline Crew, and I’m ready to make my grand entrance at Paws Place Dog Rescue! I’m a 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a BIG love for people and a personality that’s anything but ordinary!

Meeting new friends makes me so excited that sometimes my zoomies take over! I’m a treat-loving boy who’s ready to learn, practice my manners, and show off my skills. I do have heartworms, so I’ll need some quiet time during treatment, and I must be neutered before heading home.

You don’t need to crawl through a little secret door to meet me! Just stop by Paws Place and say hello!
