Our June class will begin next Monday, June 1. We are currently full with ten dogs signed up!

For those who are enrolled in class, here is some info for you for the first night.

*Please bring soft treats that your dog likes. We will discuss rewards for your dog the first night.

*Have your dog come in on a collar and leash. I am not a fan of harnesses, but will allow for certain circumstances. We will go over the various types of collars that might be appropriate on night one.

*I recommend closed toe shoes for the safest maneuvering around the building.

*There is a grassy area just west of the parking lot with a p**p station available. Please have you dog try and go before coming in.

*Until we know the temperament of each dog, do not let any of the dogs have any type of greeting outside or inside. Please keep a safe distance between all dogs. Although you may think your dog is friendly and just wants to say “hi”, we will discuss why on leash greetings are not safe.

With one class finishing, it’s time to announce the next! Because of my “life schedule”, things will be a little bit different for this first class this summer.

PET MANNERS
Monday evenings starting June 1 and ending June 29
6:00-7:00 pm
$100 for the entire 5 nights
Limit of 10 dogs

Skills covered will include sit, down, stay, come, leash walking, leave it, door manners, people greetings, and if appropriate some introduction to Canine Good Citizen requirements. We will be packing in a lot of skills in just 5 weeks!

Puppies/dogs must have attended a previous class with me OR be at least 6 months of age and fully vaccinated (proof of rabies required before signing up).

Plans for later this summer do include an Advanced/Performance base class. Details will be shared once I have more of my summer plans ironed out!

To sign up for the Pet Manners class, please send me a message with your dogs name, age, breed(s) and a picture with proof of rabies vaccination. Once that is received, I will send you a payment link.

Good stormy afternoon!

I am still planning on having class this evening. Watching the radar, this system will hopefully have blown over before class would begin. I totally understand everyone has a different feeling about being out and about in bad weather, and if you choose to stay at home, I understand. I will try and post a copy of the handout for this evening and/or send it to everyone not there.

I know we have one person not able to come to the puppy group at 7:15 but that is all I know for sure not coming this evening.

One week away from classes beginning next Monday, April 6. We have a few spots remaining.

BASIC PET MANNERS
4 months and older (fully vaccinated including rabies). $125 for the six week class. 6:00-7:00 pm

PUPPY PLAY GROUP
10 weeks to 6 months (current on vaccinations for their age). $75 for the six week class. 7:15-8:00 pm
