The Kennel at Five Forks

The Kennel at Five Forks currently offers Boarding, All breed obedience, and Retriever training. During that time he also traveled to the U.K.

The Kennel at Five Forks is owned and operated by Bobby Bridges. His love and understanding of dogs started at a young age and continues to grow to this day. With 14 years experience in training K9's for many different objectives we know what it takes to produce the dog you have always desired. Whether it be obedience or retriever training, we have the knowledge, tools, and locations to bring out

the best in your K9 companion. Bobby has trained and handled dogs for many different venues in the hunting retriever games. At one point in his career, he was employed to train K9's for the Marines and British Forces. These Labrador Retrievers were used to find improvised explosive devices(IED's) while on patrol. for 6 months to work with their military K9 trainers and handlers. While there he advised them how to correctly handle and train the dogs we had produced for them. This gives him a special ability to be able to connect and explain to owners how to properly handle and care for their dog once at home.

🐾 Pupstars of the Month 🐾

Let’s give a big round of applause to this month’s shining stars—Tabor, Ace, and Scout! 🌟

Tabor has just finished our Board and Train program, and what a transformation! He worked hard every step of the way and is leaving with improved manners, confidence, and a whole new set of skills. We’re so proud of his progress!

Ace also completed our Board and Train program and absolutely crushed it! His dedication and eagerness to learn made him a standout. Ace is heading home with a solid foundation and the tools to keep succeeding.

Scout is currently enjoying his boarding stay with us and making the most of it! From playtime to relaxation, he’s settling in great and soaking up all the love and attention from our team.

We're Hiring!

Kennel Assistant Position Available

Do you love dogs and have a strong work ethic? We're looking for a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team!

Job Duties Include:

▪ Comfortably interacting with dogs of all sizes and breeds
▪ Cleaning and sanitizing kennels
▪ Letting dogs out for playtime and bathroom breaks
▪ Maintaining clean airing yards
▪ Washing equipment and keeping spaces tidy
▪ Mowing grass and handling other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements:

▪ MUST be comfortable working with dogs
▪ A passion for cleanliness and attention to detail
▪ Ability to work independently without constant supervision
▪ Previous experience is a plus, but not required

We run a tight ship and pride ourselves on a clean and organized environment. If you’re not into cleaning, this job is not for you. We expect all tasks to be completed with care and diligence.

Hours will be in the evenings and occasionally during the morning on weekends.
