📢 Important Vaccination Update for K&B Pet Boarding Services

To help protect the health and safety of all our boarding guests, K&B Pet Boarding Services will now require all boarding dogs to be vaccinated against Leptospirosis.

According to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the Leptospirosis vaccine is now considered a core recommendation for all dogs in North America, as exposure risks exist in urban, suburban, and rural environments.

Why is Leptospirosis important?
Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that can affect dogs and is zoonotic, meaning it can also be transmitted from animals to people.
Dogs can be exposed to Leptospirosis through contact with urine from infected wildlife and contaminated water or soil. Wildlife that can carry and spread Leptospirosis includes deer, rodents, raccoons, and other animals.

Because boarding environments bring dogs together and our priority is the health and safety of every guest, this vaccination requirement will help us reduce preventable health risks.

🐾 Please check with your veterinarian to make sure your dog’s Leptospirosis vaccination is current before their next boarding stay.

🐾 DOG BOARDING & CARE

Small-Facility Boarding • Personalized Care • Only 9 Kennels
🏠 Boarding
First Dog: $50/day
Each Additional Dog: $40/day
Dogs from the same household receive a discounted rate for additional dogs.

🐕 Special Care / Difficult Dogs
$60–$70/day
Dogs who require additional handling, have significant behavioral challenges, or need extra care may be charged a higher daily rate. Pricing is determined situationally based on the individual dog's needs.

🛁 Baths Before Pickup
Give your pup a fresh, clean start when they head home!
Small/Medium Dog: $30
Large Dog: $40

Baths include:

Shampoo and conditioning
Blowout/drying
Basic brushing

Please note: I am not a professional groomer. Bath services do not include haircuts, coat trimming, shaving, dematting, or any other professional grooming services. I provide a basic bath and brush-out to help your dog go home clean and fresh.
Baths are available only for dogs who are friendly and easy to handle. Because I operate the facility on my own, I must be able to safely and comfortably handle your dog.

✂️ Nail Trims
$15
Available only for dogs who are friendly and easy to work with. For everyone's safety, nail trims may be declined if a dog is fearful, aggressive, or difficult to handle.

Ear Cleaning
$5–$10
Pricing depends on the level of care needed:

$5: Routine ear cleaning, such as cleaning included with a bath
$10: More involved cleaning for dogs with allergies, excessive buildup, or recurring ear issues
Please note: Ear cleaning is for routine care only and is not a substitute for veterinary treatment. Dogs with painful, infected, or severely irritated ears may need to be evaluated by a veterinarian.

💉 Specialty Medication
Insulin / Injections: $5 per injection
Please provide complete medication instructions and all necessary supplies at drop-off.

🥜 Frozen Kong Enrichment
$5/day
Kong filled with peanut butter and frozen for a tasty enrichment treat during your dog's stay.

❤️ A Note About Care
I operate a small, 9-kennel boarding facility on my property, which allows me to provide a more personal and attentive experience than a large commercial kennel.
Because I work alone, safety and temperament are extremely important. Some services, including baths and nail trims, are available only for dogs who can be safely and comfortably handled.

House, crate & Obedience trained all ready. UTD on all vaccines.
Fantastic with kids & small animals.
Only parting with her because we are keeping her sister with the same lines.
