The garden is starting to produce! Heads of green leaf lettuce and bunches of kale are now available. $4 a head of lettuce and $3 a bunch of kale. Much more to come as the season goes on!

This evening marks one full week of having the girls here on the farm my new favorite thing is going down through the barn and seeing the cows laying down and relaxing, chewing their cud after evening milking 489 aka red is our only red and white Holstein here on the farm, but she fits right in with the other girls. It is amazing to us all the help in the last week that we have gotten from family and friends as the cows are adjusting, and we are getting used to a whole new lifestyle and we want to thank everyone for that

Yesterday was a big day for us here at Daisy Hill Farm. We welcome 39 new Holstein cows to the farm . Carli and I have been looking for a long time to purchase a herd of dairy milk cows and last month we found our forever herd. We are extremely excited. Our First load of Milk will be going out tomorrow morning to Stoneyfield. I think the pictures speak for themselves of how dirty we are and how it went with the first milking, but things are starting to get better each milking. We want to thank all of our family and friends that have been here this weekend helping us out as we are getting settled in. We want to thank Randy Hall and Rodney Halland Caleb Hall for giving us opportunity to purchase their lovely herd and for working with us to have a  smooth transition to bringing them home.
