Part-Time Professional Bather / Groomer’s Assistant
Are you an animal lover who enjoys a fast-paced environment and doesn't mind getting a little wet? We are looking for a reliable, energetic Bather and Groomer’s Assistant to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with dogs and wants a consistent morning schedule with every afternoon and week free.
The Schedule
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (approximate).
• Days: 1–2 days per week (available Tuesday through Friday).
• Balance: No evenings and very rarely on Saturday.
The Role
As the bather of our grooming process, you will be responsible for prepping our furry clients for their haircuts. You’ll ensure every dog is squeaky clean, thoroughly dried, and ready for the stylist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bathing & Conditioning: Applying breed-specific products and ensuring deep cleaning.
• Drying: Proficiency in high-velocity drying and fluff drying while maintaining pet comfort.
• Prep Work: Performing nail trims, ear cleaning, and thorough brushing/de-matting.
• Shop Support: Assisting the groomer with safe pet handling and maintaining a clean, tidy bathing area and customer support.
What We’re Looking For
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and stay on your feet in a humid environment.
• Safety First: A calm, patient demeanor and a commitment to safe animal handling.
• Efficiency: The ability to manage your time well to keep the grooming schedule on track.
• Experience: Previous experience in a kennel, vet office, or grooming shop is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude.
