Ever had your spider do this? This silly girl was “smelling” my finger lol No, she did not bite me, but I could feel her little fangies scraping across my finger as she smelled. I assume she caught a whiff of something she found interesting.

No need to really be alarmed if you see them do this. It’s honestly quite adorable. Sometimes they do this on random surfaces as well. It’s been so fun learning their mannerisms and functions. This girl is actually quite precious. Once she was done “smelling my finger 🤣” she found a nice place on it to perch for a bit.

Last but not least: This beautiful girl is a CB i8 female mystaceus. Mother is Lilac. She currently eats 1/4” crickets, mini-small mealworms, and larger PBL’s. This is probably the closest we currently have to a “white” female. Colors and patterns will hold into maturity. Gorgeous and well sought after species. Medium in maturity. Does not need an enclosure larger than 4x4x6-7” in most cases. No bioactive required, does better in a more dry setting. Mist daily.

This precious girl is a CB i6 female regal. Mother is Winks. She currently eats 1/8-1/4” crickets, mini mealworms, and PBL’s. I didn’t notice until I was taking pictures, but her front right leg is regrown post molt after losing it prior. Her leg is fully functional and should not be noticeable by maturity, therefore I’m not claiming her as a misfit. Perfect age to begin trust bonds and handling.

This beautiful girl is a CB juvenile female regal. Mother is Poe. She currently eats 1/4” crickets, mini-small mealworms, and larger PBL’s. Gorgeous combo of dark and light coloration. She carries light, dark, and Apalachicola genetics. She was nervous when first handled but quickly calmed down. Very explorative and what I call a “happy tapper.”

This absolute doll is a CB juvenile female regal. Mother is Marceline. She currently eats 1/4” crickets, mini-small mealworms, and larger PBL’s. This girl is so precious and handles particularly well. Due to that, I’m deeming her “pet only” as I would love to see her go to a new handler. She could molt anytime, though may also go long periods between molts. She will be a year old next month, but still has a lot of growing to do.

This beautiful boy is a CB subadult male mystaceus. Mother is Lilac. He currently eats 1/4” crickets, mini-small mealworms, and larger PBL’s. This is a smaller species, and he will need an enclosure between 4x4x4-4x4x6”. No bioactive required, they often do better in a more dry enclosure. Mist daily. Friendly little guy, but fast. He will look completely different in maturity. Gorgeous species.
