Dried out to post about the show at Hidden Creek Equestrian Center Sunday!
Despite the constant rain- the barn was set high with Rylan Kresge and Huey riding one last freestyle before heading to college with a 74% and 1st🥇 place;
Emily Nancy Voloshen and Spirit kept the pace high with Into Champion 🏆and Training Lvl Reserve🎖;
Zoey and Cheezit rose to Training Level Champions🏆 and 1st🥇 in 2'CT;
Cadee and Ollie kept pace with 1st🥇 in DSE and 3rd XrailCT;
Bri Heather Batchelder-Kresge and Elton Reserve Champion🎖 in XrailCT and 1st🥇 in Intro C;
Lucy and Luka 2nd🥈 in 2'CT and qualifying scores in TL;
Erin Wendy Juniper and Dior 1st in 2'3" CT with 27%👀;
Paxton Emily Priestas and Smarty 1st 🥈in T1 and 3rd🥉 IC ;

Great day at Bucks for a hunter show followed by a fun cross country schooling. Grateful to have a nice show grounds with great schooling options !!

Whew! 2 shows in 1 week and 12 horses👀🐎🤠!
Wednesday was at the lovely Applewood- where Rylan Kresge and Huey made a great MFS debut to Metallica with qualifying scores and good feedback✌️;
Greta and Louie had fantastic rides at CT where Louie kicked it into high gear for comfortably qualifying scores😏

🚨 We need help. Right now. 🚨
The intakes are coming in faster than we can catch our breath. Baby birds. Baby skunks. Orphaned raccoons. Injured wildlife💔💔💔. The phones never stop ringing, and every day the number of animals depending on us continues to grow💔💔💔💔💔💔.
Our raccoon numbers alone are climbing at an alarming rate, and baby season is nowhere near over. Every animal that arrives needs formula, food, medications, medical supplies, testing, vaccines, laundry, heating, housing, and around-the-clock care. The costs are staggering.😢
What many people don't realize is that we receive NO state funding and NO federal funding for our daily operations. We receive NO state or federal funding for vaccines, testing, formula, medications, or the countless supplies required to keep these animals alive💔. Every single dollar comes from donations and the generosity of people who care.🙏🏼
We are currently operating at one of the highest intake volumes we have ever seen, while facing record-high expenses.💔 The reality is simple ,the animals keep coming whether the funds are there or not. We don't get to tell a starving baby raccoon, an injured skunk, or an orphaned bird to come back when we can afford to help.😭
These animals need us. And right now, we need you.
If everyone reading this gave just a few dollars, it would make an enormous difference in helping us continue to answer the calls, provide emergency medical care, and give these animals the second chance they deserve.
