THE GROOMING INDUSTRY HAS A GROOMER PROBLEM.

The groomer is not "just" a groomer.

"You're just a dog groomer."

Just. As if reading a frightened animal's body language in real time is nothing. As if handling a hundred pounds of panicked dog safely is nothing. As if skin, coat, anatomy, behaviour — and sharp tools near a moving target — is nothing.

A groomer is part behaviourist, part nurse, part athlete, part artist. My body has the receipts: the wrists, the back, the shoulders.

So no. Not "just" anything.

Better for the Dog. Better for the Groomer. Better for Life.

If I don't respond back, I'm most likely grooming a dog or driving. Please be patient in the meantime. I promise I'm not ignoring you.

I am a mobile service so yes, I will be higher in prices. This is a luxury service for you and your dog. I take pride in my work and my business. I worked hard for it and treat it like it's my baby. If my services aren't for you I will gladly recommend someone else. Also I will not tolerate any disrespect. If you give me any trouble I will ban you from any future services.

I want to let my wonderful clients know that, effective January 1st, there will be a price increase on my grooming services. Like everything else these days, the cost of quality shampoos, conditioners, blades, equipment upkeep, fuel for the mobile unit, and insurance has gone up quite a bit. I refuse to cut corners on the products and care your dogs deserve. Every groom still gets my full time, patience, and attention, especially for those who need a little extra handling. I truly appreciate your loyalty and understanding, and I'm so grateful you trust me with your babies.

Keeping your dog on a year-round flea and tick preventative is one of the simplest and most important things you can do for their health. Fleas aren't just an itchy nuisance, they can trigger severe allergic reactions, cause anemia in small or young dogs, and transmit tapeworms. Ticks are even more dangerous, spreading serious illnesses like Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis, many of which can cause lifelong complications. Here's what a lot of people don't realize: ticks can be active even in the colder months, and it only takes one bite to transmit disease. A monthly preventative is far cheaper and easier than treating a full-blown infestation in your home or managing a chronic tick-borne illness plus it protects everyone in the household, since these parasites don't stay on the dog alone.
A simple trip to the vet once a month will help this issue and stop the spread of an infestation.
