🐾💕 ELLIE MAE IS BACK — AND STILL SEARCHING FOR HER FAIRYTAILS ENDING! 💕🐾
Unfortunately, Ellie Mae was adopted and returned.
Remember that tiny puppy found crying alone in the woods of rural Owsley County after suffering a snake bite? Look at her now! She’s come a LONG way from that frightened little girl, and she’s developed quite the personality along the way!
Ellie Mae is officially in those “teenage” puppy years where she thinks the world revolves around her, rules are merely suggestions, and sometimes she has a little attitude when things don’t go her way! 😂 She’s absolutely capable of being a sweetheart, but she’s also strong-willed, energetic, and likes to play ROUGH!
We believe Ellie Mae would do best in a home with another larger, playful dog who can match her energy and a securely fenced yard where she can run, romp, and burn off some of that teenage mischief. We would recommend a home without smaller children, as Ellie Mae hasn’t quite figured out that little humans aren’t oversized squeaky toys! She can get overly excited and plays a little too enthusiastically.
Ellie Mae will soon be heading off to board and train to help her work on her manners, boundaries, and channeling all that energy in a positive direction. She’s a smart girl who just needs consistency, structure, patience, and someone willing to put in the work.
We want her next home to be her LAST home. That means finding someone who understands that puppies grow, test boundaries, make mistakes, and need guidance. Ellie Mae isn’t a bad dog. She’s a young dog who still has a lot to learn!
