Cats are never the problem. Humans are.

As Halloween approaches, black cats face real danger — from superstition, from cruelty, from people who see them as props or omens rather than living beings deserving of safety and kindness. The folklore is old. The harm is current.

If you know a black cat, shelter them with extra care this season. Keep them indoors. Watch for them. They depend on us to see past the myth and protect them fiercely.

It's that time of year my friends! Itchy allergy season has hit full force this year!

Two of the main culprits are: Ragweed & Lawn Rust Fungus - Both of these are problematic this time of year for causing irritation for both pet and human. Be sure to wipe paws and tummies with hypoallergenic pet wipes after every walk/potty and if possible, try to wash your dog in between groomings with a medicated shampoo to remove those pesky allergens from fur.

If you are unable, or don't have any medicated shampoo, or just don't have the time to wash your furry friend, give us a call. Medicated baths are only $25 😉🐾

Remember, medicated baths are temporary solutions to soothing irritated skin. If your dog has open sores, hot spots, skin discoloration, or obsessively licking, we suggest you consult your veterinarian.

A relaxing Sunday evening at our house. ❤️

Side note: Mando is not growling. He's a French Bulldog, a brachycephalic breed. He snorts, snuffles, and snores and while he's a great breather, this is how he communicates. He could never sneak up on anyone. 😉
