With tears in my eyes, and a smile on my face, I bring you the news. After 33 years of business, Conover Taxidermy is officially closing.

It's sure been great, met a lot of people, made a lot of friends. Seen a lot of beautiful deer, shared a lot of deer tales. I will miss you!
I'd like to thank everyone that ever came here, every customer was deeply appreciated. Every mount made my life a little better.
I'd like to give a special thanks to my brother, Pro Staff, Phil Conover, he's the one that got me into bow hunting. Also, a special thanks to Gary Cierley, Jim Rhaines, Phil Elliott & Elliott Packing, Harry and Glenna Tudor, Lonnie McKinley, Nathan & Andy Lewis, Ed Aubrey. These are a few that were there from the very start and went out of their way to bring me customers. I couldn't have done it without them. I know a lot of people brought a lot of other people, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that too. All in all it was great! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Missing in the Fincastle area. Our dog ran off during the fireworks Monday night. We thought he would be back yesterday but he hasn't shown up. He's a bl ack& white border collie. Message me if you've seen him.
