Time to welcome another of our retirement partners to the “Funky Monkey Club” . Several weeks back we received this new X-ray machine, our previous one decided to retire early. We are so very grateful for all of the donated equipment that helps us provide the best care to our 182 retirees. Special thanks to our LVT Sarah for getting it up and running.

“Funky Monkey Club” members. Today we received these 2
storage / feed carts, and if the carts weren’t enough they filled them with enrichment toys for the monkeys 🐵 🐒. It takes a village.

Hello sanctuary friends,
We have a special wishlist request, our wellness center staff use these pads when preforming medical 🏥 and dental 🦷 procedures for the retirees (all 182). They provide padding between the cold table and are washable and reusable. Our retirees would certainly love 💕 some as no one enjoys laying on a cold table 🥶.

A big thank you to the great folks at the DCC, their commitment to providing dental 🦷 care to animals all over the 🌎 is truly amazing. They provide this service at no cost and rely on donations to cover the cost of travel 🧳 and equipment. The sanctuary was able to make a small donation to assist in their mission and we are hopeful that other sanctuaries will help when possible. Let’s help get the word out, swing over to their page and give them a like and follow. Thank you again DCC and we look forward to seeing you again in November.

Every year during the growing season they donate freshly harvested sweet corn 🌽, who doesn’t love having a good ole fashioned corn party ? Let’s give them a big thank you for always taking care of the retirees.

We are officially launching a brand new club to celebrate the incredible businesses, individuals and retirement partners that keep our sanctuary swinging’with supply donations. The motto of “The Funky Monkey Club” is giving our primate friends a helping hand and foot. First up, a special whoop call to Cynthia and Carmine for the donation of a brand new medical emergency cart for the “Vie Bonum Wellness Center”. The next whoop call goes to one of our retirement partners for the donation of 4 oxygen concentrators. We are beyond grateful for these wonderful donations and look forward to more funky monkey friends.

Yet again we are blown away by the generosity of our retirement partners. A few weeks ago we received a packed truck 🛻 of medical supplies, equipment for our primate caregivers, enrichment toys for the retirees and so much more. All of this will be put to good use and we are so very appreciative. The facility doesn’t want to be named but we can still show our appreciation but liking and commenting here. Thank you again for your firm commitment as we assist primates as they move “From Research to Retirement”
