We wanted to share an update regarding Cali, Golden Retriever girl and future Goldendoodle plans here at Ohio Companion Puppies. 🤍
After careful thought, and due to her age, maturing, and a recent complication, we have decided it is time to officially retire her from our program. She has been such a special part of our family, and we feel she deserves to spend the rest of her years simply enjoying life, hanging out, being spoiled, and becoming the “grandma” of the pack. 🐾
We know many families have been waiting for Goldendoodle puppies, and we do want everyone to know that we absolutely plan to have Goldendoodles again in the future. Right now, we are just taking our time deciding what that looks like. That may mean finding and raising a future mama ourselves, and possibly even exploring chocolate Goldendoodles down the road. Since the red sire we previously used is no longer available, we are carefully considering our next steps and future plans.
As always, our biggest priorities are health, temperament, and producing the best companions possible and those things take time. We never want to rush decisions when it comes to our dogs and breeding program.
We appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and love for our dogs always.
