Alumni Spotlight: Elisa Molnar!

Elisa graduated earlier this month and started an exiting new job as a trainer at Rawhide Ranch - Luxury Trail Horses in the foothills of North Carolina!

Elisa is from Brookeville, PA and majored in Equine Studies with a concentration in Training and a minor in Business Admin. Her favorite Asbury horse was her Service Mount, Presence, who is now at the Milwaukee Mounted Patrol Unit.

Elisa's favorite memories at the Equine Center are all of the times that she spent with her besties and their ponies. Her words of wisdom for students are to "invite God into all you do and look for His presence in everything".

Her favorite verse is Lamentations 3:22-25

“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.'
The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him”

Alumni Spotlight: Regan Caher!

Regan graduated earlier this month, and is heading to Idaho for her next adventure, where she will be working as a guide for a trail ride and packing outfit in the Sawtooth Mountains!

Regan is from Channahon, IL and majored in Equine Assisted Services. Her favorite Asbury horse is Patriot.

Regan’s favorite memories at the Equine Center as a student are the end of year farm parties, as they are both fun and sentimental, and a great opportunity to gather as a whole program in one special place. Regan’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are to “never underestimate where God has called you – be open to his work in your life, especially while you are here at school! Lean into all your classes, learn as much as you can, and put it into practice to the best of your ability. Try new things, these can open more doors than you can ever imagine. Be intentional in all you do, let the Lord fill you and pour out his love everywhere you go. Psalm 37:5, commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”

Regan’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 25:4-5

“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”

Senior Spotlight: Marissa Yost!

Marissa is a TCK and grew up overseas. She majored in Psychology and Equine-assisted Services with an Equine Assisted Mental Health Concentration. She also minored in the Honors Program. She graduates tomorrow, May 2, 2026. Her favorite Asbury horse was Spicey.

Marissa’s favorite memory at the Equine Center is riding her best friend’s horse. Her words of wisdom to the Underclassmen are to “spend time with friends!”

Her favorite verse is John 15:4
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

We pray blessings and safe travels over the horses and students. It is a remarkable thing to witness horses and people sent out on mission, leaving Wilmore for future callings. They follow in the footsteps of a ‘great cloud of witnesses’ that have gone before them.

The seniors continue to say goodbye to their service mounts. Pistachio and Prophet are headed to their new home in Bethlehem, PA. Pharoah is headed to Scottsdale, AZ.

Maverick is our home raised quarter horse and he is headed to his new home for the summer in Indiana! He will return with his student trainer in the fall to continue his training and her junior year.

Palmer is headed to his new home in New York City with the United States Park Police!We are excited to see him settle in...
