I recommend my clients what? 4-5 week nail trims for dogs, cats can go longer.

I had an unfortunate encounter and was cussed at and essentially told I did my job incorrect. I wanna touch bases on a few things.. please read.

Attached is some information about quicks, quicking a dog can happen and even vets quick dogs by accident. It can happen.

1. Your dog does not need to go see a vet for this.
2. Corn starch, or quick stop (what I apply if this happens) stops the bleeding sometimes they can bleed through it. But dogs that are more anxious, and stressed this can happen and no need to be alarmed.
3. If a veterinary professional accidentally quicks your dog they 9/10 did not mean to do it intentionally, and things happen due to the nature of how long between trims etc.

Please, understand that these things happen and we’re all human. Please be kind. ❤️

Wanna hear my luck this Tuesday morning? I saved up for months for a truck to haul my horses with, and it blew up after 1 drive. Now I have to save another 3,000 for another one, yay me!

I had a client who I have never serviced before send me a very rude, and distasteful message. It truly did hurt my feelings because I do try to go above and beyond for my clients.

As many know, and those who don’t this isn’t my only job.. I juggle school, another full time job, and this. My hours vary, some days I get off early, some days I’m off late, some days I might have to reschedule you 2-3x for that I always apologize and almost ALWAYS offer a 5$ discount.

This client who I’ve never serviced and was going to go to hampstead, deep hampstead for one pet to help her, texted me today and said “you could do it for free and I wouldn’t use you”. All because I had to reschedule her due to issues with breaking my toes, and then an emergency today and still offered a discount.

The good thing about this job is it’s my business, and clients who don’t value me can go to petsmart or somewhere that has set hours to benefit there schedule.
