Wellspring Holistic Veterinary Care is a unique, non-traditional veterinary clinic. Dr. Kerr is a 1987 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Kerr practiced small animal and equine medicine in Bloomington, Indiana for a year, then relocated to Shallotte, North Carolina. He and his wife, Dr. Betsy Burbank, opened Companion Animal Hospital and operated

it for 14 years. In 2001, Dr. Kerr began studying Chinese medicine at The Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. After completing training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Tui-Na in 2004, he opened Wellspring Holistic Veterinary Care.

I wanted to share an event flyer for a fundraiser taking place next weekend (10/2) to benefit a great cause! Check out the event page here Merit Pit Bull Foundation + New Anthem Beer(Gfield St).

Erin, who many of you know from her time working here, is one of the vendors. She will be donating 15% of her proceeds that day to Merit Pit Bull Foundation.

They are also accepting donations at this event, and are in need of the following items:

- dog foods
- dog treats
- training pads
- durable toys
- nylabones
- teething rings
- dental care items
- clorox wipes
- paper towels
- gift cards for chewy. com, amazon, etc.

Good Morning Wellspring Community,

We will start off the New Year 2021 Closed for Friday, January 1st and Saturday, January 2nd. We will reopen Monday, January 4th. Please plan your furbabies' needs accordingly. As always, if your furbaby has an immediate need for veterinary care, the Animal Emergency and Trauma Hospital is open 24hrs a day and on holidays. Hope everyone has safe and accident free holidays. Our holiday hours for the Christmas Holiday are as follows:

We will be closed starting Thursday, December 24th and will reopen on Monday, December 28th. Please plan your furbabies veterinary needs accordingly. Good Morning Wellspring Community,

Hope everyone is having a good week. Starting Thursday, November 26th-Sunday, November 29th we will be closed through the weekend and will reopen to normal business hours on Monday, November 30th. If you have any questions or need to pick up prescriptions, please plan accordingly. If your furbaby needs to be seen by a veterinarian during the weekend, our afterhours emergency vet is the Animal Emergency and Trauma Hospital. They are open 24hrs and on weekends. We hope you enjoy your holiday and stay healthy out there. 😺

Good afternoon Wellspring Community!
Hope everyone is staying healthy out there. We just wanted to inform everyone that in preparation for Hurricane Isaias, we are officially closed for the day. We will do our best to keep everyone updated on our business hours. For now, we recommend that you call Tuesday(08/04/2020) about scheduled appointments, as we may have to be closed for part, if not, all of the day.
