🚨 ARIES HAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT. 🚨
This handsome little Frenchie reported to BHVH for a bath & nail trim — where he was scrubbed, clipped, pampered, and provided a running commentary consisting primarily of snorts, grunts, wheezes, tiny pig noises, and several sounds we cannot confidently attribute to a dog.
But LOOK AT THIS FACE.

Aries is one lucky little meatball to have someone who loves him enough to make sure he stays fresh, clean, and significantly less stinky.
He left with shorter nails, a clean coat, and the unmistakable confidence of a man who knows his bath picture is going on Facebook.
11/10. Very demure. Very mindful. Very Fresh. 🛁🐾💙

Well, Butter my Biscuits and pass the Rhinestones! 💖✨🤠

We worked *9 to 5* celebrating the life, music, sparkle, and downright fabulousness of Dolly with our very own Dolly Pawton Day at BHVH!

Our patients understood the assignment: big hair, bigger personalities, cowboy hats, tutus, and enough pink to make Dolly proud. And honestly? They absolutely SLAYED.

A huge thank-you to our amazing clients for letting us turn their babies into little country music icons for the day. We laughed WAY too much making this happen.

As for the cats? They declined all offers to participate. Obviously.

Double the appointments, double the personality! 💙🎀 Siblings Diamo and Lola came to see Dr. Paul today for a little veterinary care—and left with bow ties, glittery bows, and an entire hospital full of smiles.

Zoey came in for her 16 week Technician Appointment to receive her due vaccines. She also received approximately 47 cuddles, 12 kisses, unlimited ear scratches, and absolutely no instructions whatsoever on how to sit still for a photo.
Best day ever, for Taryn and Kim. 😍

Staff pet meeting with management adjourned. Ruby, Poe & Django presented their demands. Management caved. Treats were distributed. Let the Friday shenanigans commence. 😂🐾

Neither one was thrilled about their veterinary visit... but Leo and Grace made sure to stick together every step of the way. Sometimes the best medicine is having your built-in emotional support sink-sibling, right by your side. 🐾

Some days just make you smile. 💙 Today we welcomed sweet puppy Gus for his very first visit—and we also welcomed back one of our favorite veterinary technicians, Taryn! Tiny puppy kisses, wagging tails, and familiar faces returning home. We'd call that a pretty perfect day.

🌈 A Message from Our Hospital Manager 🌈

At Brandywine Hundred Veterinary Hospital, one of the things I'm most proud of is the culture we're building together.

To me, Pride Month is about celebrating authenticity and recognizing that everyone deserves to feel welcome, respected, and safe being exactly who they are.

For many people, there was a time when sharing details about their family or partner didn't always feel comfortable. Some felt the need to use words like "roommate" instead of speaking openly about the people they loved. My hope is that no one ever feels that burden when they walk through our doors.

Whether you're a client, team member, family member, or visitor, you deserve to be greeted with kindness, dignity, and acceptance. We want Brandywine Hundred Veterinary Hospital to be a place where people can show up as their authentic selves and know they will be treated with compassion and respect.

Our patients may be cats and dogs, but caring for people is part of what we do every day. Creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone is something I believe in deeply and am proud to support.
