September was a busy month, and I’m so grateful I got to spend it caring for all these wonderful pets! 🐾

We’re finally getting some relief from the summer heat, and these cooler days have been a welcome change. The pets seem to agree, especially the dogs! I’ve noticed so many of them feeling more energetic and ready to get moving. It’s been fun seeing everyone enjoy the beginning of cooler weather. 🍂

Thanks to all the families who trusted me with your pets this month. Here’s a little look at some of the sweet faces I got to visit in September!

Just Tilly following the secret path into the enchanted forest ✨🌿

I’m not entirely sure where we’re going, but she clearly knows the way. 🧚🏻‍♀️🐾

I’ve been patiently waiting for this moment 🥹 After a handful of bookings, Ms. Lucy finally came out from under the bed to see me!

I still kept my distance, stayed quiet, and moved very, very slowly. With shy cats, trust happens on their timeline, and being allowed to simply share her space felt like a big win. Look at that brave girl! 🤎🐾

A little scheduling heads up! 🐾

Snyder Pet Services will be unavailable October 2 through 5 while we take a short break and recharge. Regular visits will resume October 6.

Thank you for understanding and for allowing us to care for your pets! 🤎

Fly walking away from home: 🐢

Fly the second I say, “Take us home”: 🐇💨

Ma’am…so you could move like that this entire time?! 😂

🐾 OFF THE CLOCK 🐾

Gemma used to be scared of car rides. She’s still not exactly volunteering for a cross country road trip anytime soon 😂 and longer rides can definitely be stressful for her.

But somewhere along the way, short car rides became okay.

Probably because she figured out that getting in the car usually means we’re headed to one of her favorite sniff spots, either the pond down the road or Ogden Park. 🌿🐾

She may never be a dog who LOVES riding in the car, and that’s okay. Going from “this is scary” to “fine, but there better be good sniffs at the end of this” is still a win. 😂

New Friend Alert! 🐾 Meet Belle & Bruin!

Belle is still just a puppy and has perfected that classic sweet face with mischievous intentions. 😂 I keep trying to convince her that tennis balls are great for fetch, but apparently I don’t understand her taste. She prefers nature’s finest toys: pine cones and sticks. 🤷🏻‍♀️🌲

Meanwhile, Bruin is the chill one of the pair and is perfectly content lounging on the bench or finding a sunny spot to soak up the rays. ☀️

One chooses chaos. One chooses naps. I think we’re going to get along just fine. 🥰🐾

We have a soft spot for the seniors. 🤎🐾

Over the last two years, we’ve said goodbye to two of our own senior pups, and we’re lucky enough to still have one old man holding down the fort at home. There’s just something extra special about getting to love on the oldies.

Alexia had the opportunity to meet sweet Bailey today, her first dog client! Bailey is 14 years young and just as sweet as can be. 🥹

Safe to say, these two got along just fine. 🤎🐾

Harlow’s parents got married last weekend! 💍🤍

So naturally, a heart shaped Purr Pop felt appropriate for the occasion. 🥹💕

Harlow LOVES her sunroom time, but she’s learned that coming back inside has its perks. Sunroom time ends, Purr Pop appears.

It’s a compromise. 😂🐱☀️

Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🥂🤍

🍄 WHAT IS WITH THE MUSHROOMS THIS WEEK?!

Meet today’s culprit. Does she look guilty? Absolutely not. 😂

In almost 8 years of pet sitting, mushrooms have rarely been something I’ve had to worry about. Now TWO dogs in ONE WEEK have decided to go mushroom hunting…
