John's Fowl Farm We have chickens,ducks,quail,Irish Dexter Cattle, honey bees and a bison. Chicks and ducklings are seasonal. For eggs or honey call (815)458-2995. only.

We are in line at the swap at the Kankakee county fairgrounds. We have coturnix quail, button quail, Rouen drakes, khaki Campbell Drakes, rabbits, 3 goats, fancy tail guppies, and some popcorn still on the cob. Gates open at 5am and it’s all done by 12pm at the latest.

Anyone interested in these before we load them for the swap?

Getting closer to getting cleaned up from the storm damage. We cut down what was left on one of the trees, put up a new gate, dugout the old wooden post that were concreted Inn, put some railroad ties for new post, and got the fence back up. Still need to finish dealing with all the oak trees. We also have some willow trees up by the road and one willow limb from a tree outback to clean up as well.

The old saying is a swarm in May is worth a load of hay and a swarm in July isn’t worth a fly. We’ll see what happens with this one.
