🌿🐴 Nature Healing with Horses: Grandfather Rock & Staying Cool 🐴🌿
This week in our Radiant Riders Rider Method™ course, we spent time exploring the strength and wisdom of Grandfather Rock.
For me, Grandfather Rock represents ancestry, resilience, and the reminder that none of us are here by accident. When I reflect on my grandfathers and the generations before me, I feel connected to a much larger story. I believe we arrive with purpose, and our ancestors help shape the path we walk today.
As you continue building your medicine wheel, allow yourself to be drawn to the rocks that call to you. Trust your intuition. Leave a small gift of gratitude. Notice what each stone teaches you. Have fun exploring and creating your own sacred space.
With summer temperatures rising, we shifted from working with rocks to cooling down with the Equiball, chilled in the freezer and enjoyed by Skippy. Chilled marble stones can also be wonderful, but I love the way the Equiball glides so effortlessly across muscles and fascia.
I hope everyone is enjoying the Radiant Riders journey. Remember, the course is designed to be explored at your own pace. The medicine wheel teachings we’ve discussed are inspired by Evelyn Eaton’s book, The Shaman and the Medicine Wheel.
As for me, I’ll be spending part of the summer studying Pet Nutrition through the University of Delaware while continuing my Pain Relief and Movement Therapy practice.
If you have questions about medicine wheel building, nature connection, horses, or the Rider Method™, feel free to message me.
Until next time, enjoy the rest of your weekend, listen to the wisdom of the stones, and give your horses an extra cool-down session.
