Clinton County Humane Society in Ohio The Clinton County Humane Society (in Ohio) works to find homes for the county's unwanted animals. It is a no-kill, nonprofit organization. Hours by appointment.

The Clinton County Humane Society was founded in 2003, first in an existing building and then in a shelter built in 2006 from privately donated funds. We have adopted more than 8,900 animals since the group began. The Clinton County Humane Society does not receive county or government funding, and it depends on donations to fund the shelter. Because the shelter is staffed by volunteers, based on their varying schedules, adoptions are by appointment. Our adoptable animals can be seen at https://www.petfinder.com//pet-search?shelter_id=OH323.
