๐‘จ๐’…๐’๐’“๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’† ๐‘จ๐’…๐’๐’‘๐’•๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’†๐’”: Weโ€™re a pair of gentle, goofy lovebugs who have one very important request: Can we go home together? We know adopting two dogs at once might sound like a big ask - but just look at us! Weโ€™re a couple of Velcro lovebirds who have formed an incredibly special bond. We play together, look for each other when weโ€™re apart, chase the water together, splash in the pool together... basically, wherever one of us goes, the other is never far behind! We come fully vetted and our shelter friends do ask that we be indoor dogs and true members of the family - exactly where two lovebirds like us belong. Weโ€™re a boy and girl - thatโ€™s me, the girl, on the right. Iโ€™m just 9-months-old and my ID number is A519007. My friend is 2-years-old and his ID number is A519009. We found each other; now all we need is a family to find us! Let's meet at the New Hanover Sheriff's Office Animal Services Unit. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11am to 3:30pm and on Saturday from 8am to 11:30am. ๐‘จ๐’…๐’๐’“๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’† ๐‘จ๐’…๐’๐’‘๐’•๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’†: Iโ€™m a 1-year-old Shar Pei mix, which means I come with plenty of personality, a sweet heart, and - most importantly - lots of wonderfully squishy wrinkles! Iโ€™m an affectionate boy who absolutely loves being close to my people. I take treats politely and already know how to sit for them. Handsome and well-mannered? What a combo! When Iโ€™m not soaking up affection, I have plenty of fun things on my agenda. I love the water, I adore my stuffed animals, and I enjoy spending time with other dogs. In fact, Iโ€™ve even been to doggy daycare and did great! Because Iโ€™m a Shar Pei mix, my shelter friends would especially love to find an adopter who has experience with the breed.
