I am a city girl at heart, who has an addiction to J.Crew and Kate Spade. I’m proud to be from Detroit (Go Tigers!), and it will always be the place I call home no matter where I am. My taste in music basically consists of Taylor Swift albums on repeat, and I have a crazy, unhealthy love for donuts. I’m a newlywed and I just adore my husband even though he says I laugh at my own jokes a little too much. I am unashamedly a crazy dog lady, and my Golden Retriever Stella is my best friend!

Don’t laugh at me, okay?! I told you all I was making time to intentionally enjoy my favorite season, even during my busiest season of work. It’s no secret that I love creating (I guess that’s why I’m a photographer, haha), and there’s something really inspiring about creating just for myself… even if it’s simply photos of us at the orchard. A little extra? Maybe. But I loved every minute of it. ;)

And yes, Brad came for the donuts 🤣

I know I might get some hate for posting snowy videos so soon, but I can’t help myself! Apparently they’re saying we’re not going to get as much snow this year in Michigan and I’m so sad! I love snow!!

Does anyone else look forward to their morning routine every day?! Full transparency, most mornings don’t look like this, especially during busy season. Now that our wedding season is slowing down, I’m looking forward to having more time to have a slower morning!

Kayla & Ante’s wedding day in Northern Michigan, part one! Beautiful weather, a lakeside setting, and their closest family and friends all together made this day so special. It was clear how much their families mean to these two! Narrowing down my favorites was nearly impossible, so there’s a part two coming, too!

They celebrated this next chapter with a tented, lakeside wedding at a private estate in Northern Michigan, a place that holds so much meaning for Kayla. We feel so lucky to have captured this incredible weekend for these two, and I’m so excited to share more!
