Meet this young, bonded male and female cockatiel pair, both under 3 years old, looking for a loving new home together. 💛

These two were previously hand-raised and have since raised one clutch together. The male prefers not to be handled, while the female will tolerate some interaction, particularly outside of hormonal seasons.

Their ideal home will understand that they may not be hands-on birds and will be happy simply giving them a wonderful life together. They will need a large, appropriate cage with plenty of perches, toys, enrichment, and opportunities to stay active and engaged.

My feather puppy with his favorite rattle …. Why do we waste money on parrot toys? Seems like disposable cups, bins of trinkets and boxes are clear winners.

We have a potential female African grey in north shore MA, looking for a soft landing spot. She’s not been handled in years , doesn’t speak much and needs time and patience. Not much is known about her age or background.

Must have parrot experience. Must have an appropriate space and realistic expectations for her. Parrots loose trust easily and never forget. She’s previously had another parrot near her in a separate cage which she seemed to enjoy but I don’t believe she’s ever been out of cage with other flock members.

We will ask for the vet that you use, a photo of cage and set up that you have or have had . Info on past and or current parrot experience .

All 4 in/on one cage 😳😳 I don’t expect to last long. But I had to document the moment.

And before you all come at me….We’ve tried training harnesses. She will not have it. So leg leash is what she uses. I hold her leg lead high so even if she tried to take flight she wouldn’t make lift off.

In my opinion, some risk is better than no life and living confined to a cage . There’s risk to my multi species flock cohabitating out of cage. I also recognize that. But again. Living a fuller life is worth the risk to me.

Since 5:30 am.. a party of chirps, beeps, boops, whoops, bubbles, whistles, screaming and a slew of other noises.

I fell asleep early on the couch and didn’t sneak in to lock the last two up for the night. 🙄
